Pricing

Our pricing is designed to give you the flexibility to pay only for the support you need.

Consultations are $75 per half hour, and are charged in 10-minute increments after the first 30 minutes (minimum booking time is 30 minutes).

This same rate applies to any follow-up work — including report writing, liaison with other professionals, or documentation — ensuring transparency and consistency in pricing.

We’ve chosen this structure to make expert mental health guidance as accessible and affordable as possible. Sometimes all that’s needed is a brief assessment, a quick check-in, or a chance to ask a few questions and get pointed in the right direction.

However, if you're seeking personalised navigation or tailored recommendations, these are best formed through a comprehensive assessment — allowing us to fully understand your needs and provide the most effective guidance.

You don’t need a referral, there’s no waitlist — just timely, professional support when you need it.

We’re here as a resource. Available, approachable, and ready to help.

How it works

  • You can get in touch via phone, email, or our online contact form. We’ll respond promptly to arrange a consultation. We’ll guide you through what to expect and how we can help.

  • This first session is focused on understanding the situation, identifying concerns, and exploring goals together.

Whether we’re working with an individual, supporting whānau, advising an organisation about an employee, or consulting on behalf of an insurer, the session is tailored to meet the specific needs of everyone involved.

It’s a chance to ask questions, share details, and begin gathering information that will guide the next steps. For individuals and whānau, we can offer mental health first aid advice or practical strategies to support access to care. For organisations, this session can provide insights to assist with workplace accommodations or return-to-work plans. If we're working with an insurer, we’ll explore recommendations to help their clients move smoothly through the claims process.

After our kōrero, we’ll assess what level of support is required and identify the best options going forward—whether that means further assessments, referrals, or coordination with other services. For workplaces, this might include liaising with People and Culture teams to align support with workplace needs. For insurers, we can offer guidance that ensures clients receive appropriate care. Its a bit like a WOF really, but a “Wellbeing and overload forecast”.

By the end of the session, you’ll have clear, practical steps—whether it’s connecting someone with the right services, supporting an employee, or facilitating a claim.

  • After the initial consultation, the next step is often to move from a brief assessment into a more comprehensive evaluation. While the initial session can provide immediate clarity and outline actionable steps, a deeper assessment offers a fuller exploration of the situation. This helps us better understand the complexities involved and guides more precise recommendations for care and support.

Our pathfinding approach focuses on assessing and triaging to the most appropriate services—whether through primary, secondary, or tertiary care, or by connecting with specialised providers such as ACC sensitive claims, psychologists, trauma specialists, or other therapeutic supports.

Throughout the process, we can collaborate closely with GPs, healthcare providers, and other key professionals to ensure our assessments align with existing care plans. Whether the next steps involve further evaluation or targeted referrals, we provide practical guidance to help make the transition into appropriate care as seamless as possible.

  • A comprehensive assessment takes a deeper dive into an individual’s mental, physical, and social well-being, exploring multiple areas to create a fuller picture of their needs and circumstances. This process is flexible and tailored, focusing on key areas to provide practical guidance. In some cases, a more thorough, multi-session assessment is recommended to ensure all relevant aspects are fully explored.

The assessment gathers detailed information about the individual’s mental health, personal history, and current challenges. This leads to a formulation—a crucial step in understanding why the individual is experiencing specific issues. The formulation considers diagnostic categories (shared traits), personal characteristics, and causal factors (events or conditions that contributed to the issues).

This personalised understanding allows us to craft a clear plan, guiding decisions about the best interventions and pathways for support. Whether this involves ACC sensitive claims, structured return-to-work strategies, or referrals to psychologists or trauma specialists, the goal is to connect individuals with timely, appropriate care based on a comprehensive view of their unique situation. Throughout this process, we often collaborate with GPs, healthcare providers, and other key professionals to ensure that our assessments complement existing care plans and support the individual’s overall wellbeing.

  • With permission, we collaborate with GPs, healthcare providers, and other key professionals to share findings and recommendations. This collaboration ensures that everyone involved is aligned, helping to streamline referrals and support planning.

We offer flexible, periodic check-ins to help you stay on track. While we don’t provide intensive or long-term support, we act as a reliable resource, providing insights and working alongside your GP or other professionals when needed. Our role is to ensure you have the information and guidance necessary to stay connected to the care and services that best meet your needs.
